Who Is TabTrade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

TabTrade — What It Is

Tab Trade opened in March 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.

That last detail is relevant. It suggests the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. Still more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.

The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.

The instrument list: forex, indices, metals, commodities, shares, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For something this new, the breadth is solid.

What You Trade On

You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Having both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Cleaner order book. More responsive charts. cBot support. Many people prefer it after comparing.

FIX API is there for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is said to be coming. That should round things out when it lands.

Costs

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Good for people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can be below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker does not.

VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not something the average person. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.

Infrastructure

The speed is the area where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers operate at a much wider range.

Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. The point is the setup is serious. That is what kind of broker this is.

Combine that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package holds up. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.

The FSRA Question

Here is the detail that requires honesty. TabTrade is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.

But. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Scam brokers do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. None of this make it safe. It should factor into your decision.

The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off makes sense comes down to your priorities.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Usual sign-up bonus. You fund your account, they add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before funding.

The full review, with regulation, withdrawals, pricing, and the bonus terms, is at website TradeTheDay.
